The Charity Exchange is a digital platform that serves as a bridge between donors and charities worldwide. As a donor-advised fund, it connects donors with charities across different countries, including Canada, Israel, and the United States. The platform facilitates global and domestic donations, empowering donors and charities to collaborate effectively.
The client sought an elegant and user-friendly portal designed to connect donors and charities seamlessly. They wanted features that would simplify the donation process for donors and streamline operations for charities. The platform also needed to support various payment methods and provide robust reporting tools.

After thoroughly understanding the client’s requirements during the initial meetings, we developed wireframes and a database architecture to provide a clear, practical roadmap for the solution.
We built an intuitive portal with several advanced functionalities. Key features included user filters and a fund deposit system supporting multiple payment methods, such as credit cards, wire transfers, e-transfers, cheques, and PayPal. To streamline access and exits, we implemented a registration and withdrawal system for both donors and charities.
Additionally, we designed analytic tools to help the client generate and download country-specific reports. These tools made it easier to track donations and evaluate the platform’s performance, ensuring quick and efficient decision-making.
